Brass metal for construction of art glass and stained glass projects. Available in flat face or rounded profile, accommodate 3 mm (1/8") thick glass and are 6 feet long. Brass cames have been used to bring a golden hue to the works, giving both strength and elegance to glass work. Typically used for restorations, brass is more rigid than lead and thus provides a stronger structure. Brass is also enjoying a revival in mass production, making them easier to find and purchase. |
