5. BOXING FEES – there is a charge for boxing glass and boxing some metals.
5a. GLASS BOXING Fees – Glass is packed in a cardboard box with foam chips. This packaging method is the best option to eliminate damage during transportation.

5b. CAME (Lead, Zinc, Brass or Copper ) BOXING FEES
Came Boxing fee’s do not apply to full factory boxes in sizes of: 15lb, 22lb, 33lb and 45lb.
Came is packed in a cardboard box. Selecting a 36-inch box saves a Canada Post over-size extra shipping fee of $15.

6. GLASS CRATING FEES – for truck shipments only
CRATING Fees & PALLET Fees for GLASS – For glass orders being transported by a trucking company the glass is placed in a wooden crate and secured to a wooden shipping pallet. This packaging method is the best option to eliminate damage during transportation.

7.CLAIMS for Damage or Breakage
7a. Once orders have shipped from our Vancouver location, the responsibility of its delivery passes to the delivery provider i.e. Canada Post. Delivery services do not insure for glass breakage. Insurance usually covers just loss of product. Kona Stained Glass does not offer insurance that your product will arrive intact. Our past experience is that the breakage rate of glass or damage of other product in parcels is very minimal. Damage rarely happens. We can account this to our packaging procedures and the quality of the delivery service in Canada & US.
7b. If there is reason to believe that there is damage, either hidden or visible, mark the delivery slip as such before the driver leaves. If damage of product is found, take pictures of damaged product and packaging. Keep all packing & product evidence. Submit the images and product details to Kona Stained Glass. We will initiate the claim and keep you updated.
8. RETURNS & REFUNDS
8a. Returns or Refunds:
We accept returns for refund. You can return unopened and unused items in the original packaging within 60 days of your purchase with receipt of purchase. If 60 days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange. Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to returned product during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a return. If you are entitled to a return, we will refund your purchase price and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable.
8b. Refund Exclusions: Some items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. These include glass, solder, wire, lead came and any product which was cut to size via special order.
8c. Refund Returns: You must include a copy of your invoice.
