View Inside Your Kiln While It Is Firing

This special order factory option is one of the coolest features Skutt offers. It is a small viewing window made of quartz that mounts on the side of the kiln.

Skutt drills a hole in the brick and then carves it out on the inside to give you a wider viewing area. With the View Window, you no longer need to lift the lid to see if your piece slumped exactly right.

Skutt recommends when using the view window to wear protective glasses such as the ones that flame workers or welders use.
