Armour Etch is a fast acting specially formulated Glass Etching Cream that can create permanently etched designs on windows, mirrors, and household glassware.

• Will not etch plastics or pyrex
• For best results, etch only small areas, 1 x 1 inch.

Application instructions

1) Clean the Glass or Mirror

• Thoroughly Clean to Remove all Grease, Dust, and Fingerprints
• Avoid cleaners that advertise fingerprint-resistant. These cleaners leave a film on the glass that hinders the etching process
• Dry carefully and Completely

2) Applying Armour Etch Cream

• Recommended room temperature, over 70 degrees.
• The work area should be well lighted, ventilated & near a water source
• Wear plastic gloves and protective eyewear.
• For best results, etch only small areas, 1 x 1 inch.
• Mask over areas not being treated. Washed-off cream can still etch surfaces.
• With the cap securely on, Shake thoroughly.
• For the chemical to react, apply a thick layer of etching cream
• Thick enough so that you cannot see the glass surface
• Work quickly

3) Removing Armour Etch Cream

• Allow the cream to remain on the glass for only one minute
• Leftover cream can be scraped back into a different bottle.
• Use lukewarm water to wash off all etching cream residue
• Use caution when rinsing as even diluted cream can still etch
• Clean with glass cleaner
• Dry carefully and completely
